We're No Heroes are very important to me for many reasons, I'd say that their track "Voodoo" is easily one of the most played tracks on my Spotify and one of my most worn 7 inches. And I hope that my second copy of that which I gave away in a competition is getting just as much use!
The track "Stay Weird" is right up there with "Voodoo" as well, it's part of a very obvious creative streak for the band. Taking genres such as funk, psychedelia and rock and infusing some pop influences into them and making it so much more accessible whilst staying so true to the aforementioned genres.
Their latest release, "Youth" is arguably their most creative, attractive and yet, somehow, mainstream song to date. It contains some of the funkiest basslines that are legal to put on wax and it's one of those songs that just seems to take control of your every move and you can't help but sing and dance along. We're No Heroes are a very special band for this very reason and they're not to be missed, if you live in and around South Wales or Bristol area then you have to get yourself down to one of their gigs, lord knows I wish I could!
