Trapper and auto-tune king Future is one of the rare artists from the mumble rap generation that I vibe with. Mainly due to his ear for beats being almost flawless, and even his worst projects having some really great songs. Depending on which projects you count as traditional 'album' formats then this somewhere between his 3rd and 15th album. Ever since his DS2 project he has been steadily releasing music like there's no tomorrow, ensuring that he never leaves those Spotify playlists. And it's that mentality that will ultimately kill the legacies of rappers today. In Part 1 of My Vinyl Collection we went through some classic albums, if you haven't checked that out then definitely have a look at that through here . In this section we will be finishing off the A's and venturing into the B's, This ones a must read if you're an Arctic Monkeys fan. Arctic Monkeys - Favourite Worst Nightmare This artwork is the most annoying out of all the Arctic Monkeys because it's the only one that actually contains any band logo on it, which is really annoying because it looks out of place when hung on the wall with the other covers. It is, however, great artwork nonetheless. If you open up the gatefold you are met with this really nice artwork, which I think may be what the inside of the house on the cover looks like, it has really cool 60's feel to it and it just presents itself differently to the artwork on the cover. J. Cole - KOD (Album Review)

J. Cole is back with a new album, and at this point I’m quite tired of seeing people surprise drop albums, it has no shock value anymore and it’s just sort of becoming a norm for releases. What happened to 3 singles, an album, and then 1 or 2 more singles? I miss those days – That’s a rant for another time though. J. Cole has upped the ante this time, taking his supposed “snooze rap” and injecting some life into it. This was needed after the sub-par record that was 4 Your Eyez Only, his weakest project to date in my opinion. Nonetheless, I’m still a big J. Cole fan so I was excited to listen to this project and it’s good to hear him evolving his sound but I still have issues with some of the directions he takes. For example, the talking/interludes in between songs are rarely required on non-concept albums purely because they don’t add anything other than time to the album and they dramatically lessen the replayability. Types - A P P A R I T I O N (Track Review)

Apparition, according to the Oxford Dictionary, is a remarkable or unexpected appearance of someone or something. And if I’m honest this perfectly describes Types as a band to me. They came out of nowhere going from a band that I’d never heard of to one of my favourites in the space of mere weeks. And with the release of their debut EP, The Future Is Close Enough, I was astounded at the sheer talent of these guys. But then came the first single leading up to their next project, I Can Taste Blood and it blew my mind even more.
